Additional community involvement includes her service on the United Way’s Board of Directors, the Labor Advisory Committee and the Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Committee.
Linda comes from a “union” family - one that has benefited from the value of being union members and the institution of collective bargaining in the workplace. The underlying belief of the AFL-CIO Community Services Program is that “a union member is first and foremost a member of the community.” Linda learned that lesson well and continues to ‘walk the walk” and “talk the talk”. She personifies the spirit of the Labor-United Way Partnership Award in York County.. We congratulate her on being selected this year |
